Go to your Instagram profile, tap the three horizontal lines, select 'Settings,' then 'Account,' followed by 'Original Posts.' Disable the toggles for 'Save Original Photos' and 'Save Posted Videos.' Voila!

Turn off 'Save Original Photos' in settings. Done and done.
On Android? Open Instagram, head to Settings > Account > Original Posts, and untoggle 'Save Original Photos.' Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
From personal experience, just head to your Account Settings, look for 'Original Posts,' and switch off those options. No more cluttered camera roll!
