Switch to a different server! Sometimes certain servers can be crowded and laggy. Just go to the settings and pick another one.
Close background apps and browser tabs. Your device needs all the power it can get to run smoothly.
Honestly, nothing really works. The servers are just overloaded. Play at less busy times if you can.
