Easy. Just don't smash any more of those shiny orbs or hearts. No smash, no crash.

I've covered my world in tiny wooden platforms everywhere. Takes forever but hey, no more surprise meteor showers ruining my garden.

Stopping meteorites in Terraria is all about destroying Shadow Orbs or Crimson Hearts in your world. After you destroy one, there's a chance a meteorite will land the next midnight. To prevent more from landing, don't destroy any more Orbs or Hearts. If you're just trying to protect specific areas, placing Chests or other player-placed blocks over them can prevent meteorites from landing there since they won't land near player structures.

Honestly? Just let 'em come. Meteorite gear is cool, and farming the mobs that spawn after is a good way to get loot.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
