Honestly, just tell your friends to stop tagging you. It's the old-school approach but it works!
Easy peasy! Go to 'Settings & Privacy' -> 'Settings' -> 'Profile and Tagging'. Here, you can control who can tag you in posts. Set it to 'Friends' or 'Only Me' depending on your preference.
