You can untag yourself from posts and adjust your privacy settings. Also, talk to your friend and kindly ask them to stop tagging you!
You can control tagging by going to the 'Profile and Tagging' settings. Set 'Review posts you're tagged in before the post appears on your profile?' to 'On.'
Personal experience: If you don't want to hurt someone's feelings, just set your tagging review on. You get to approve or deny each tag. Easy peasy!
