Seriously, just use an ad blocker. Problem solved.
You can't completely stop them, but adjusting your ad preferences and hiding ads helps! Also, consider giving feedback on irrelevant ads. Facebook listens!
To cut down on those pesky sponsored ads, go to your Facebook settings, click on 'Ad Preferences,' and hide ads you find irrelevant. It won't eliminate them completely, but it'll help!
