Honestly, turning off notifications for suggestions is the quickest fix. Go to settings and toggle them off.
LOL! Just ignore them. Or, you can tweak some settings to hide them for good.
To stop those pesky suggestions, click on the three dots next to the suggestion and select 'Hide.' It works like magic!
