Get a better computer. Seriously.
Make sure you run TF2 as an administrator and disable any overlays, like Discord or the Steam overlay. Sometimes those can cause issues.
Try disabling any mods or custom content you've added to the game. Sometimes they cause conflicts and crashes.
I had the same problem! Lowering the in-game graphics settings worked for me. Also, make sure your computer meets the game's minimum system requirements.
