To stop the spread of Crimson in Terraria, you're gonna want to dig a trench at least 6 blocks wide around the area you want to protect. No half measures, we're talking all the way down to the Underworld. Also, using Sunflowers on the surface helps slow the spread because who knew flowers were so powerful? And don't forget, Purification Powder and the Clentaminator are your BFFs here. Spray the Purification Powder or use the Clentaminator with Green Solution to cleanse the land and stop that crimson in its tracks!

I covered my base in Hallow. Fight fire with fire, right? The Crimson can't spread through Hallow, so it's a good defense if you're okay with trading one biome for another.

Just use the Clentaminator lol. It's the easiest and fastest way. Shoot it with Green Solution and watch the Crimson disappear.
