Stopping triggered abilities in Magic The Gathering can be a bit tricky since it depends on what's happening on the battlefield. The key cards for this are 'Stifle,' which can counter any activated or triggered ability, and 'Disallow,' which does the same but also can counter spells. Both are incredibly useful for keeping your opponent's triggers in check. Don't forget to keep an eye on your mana though; timing is everything!

I once totally wrecked an opponent's game plan by using 'Voidslime.' It's an older card but works like a charm against both activated and triggered abilities. Plus, counteracting a spell is always a bonus. So if you're looking for versatility, Voidslime could be your go-to.

Just slap a 'Tale's End' on that trigger. Short, sweet, and to the point. It counters legendary spells and abilities, which covers a lot of ground in competitive plays.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
