Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to the Startup tab, find War Thunder, and then disable it. Easy peasy!

Just open your War Thunder launcher, go to the settings, and uncheck the 'Run at startup' option. Should do the trick!

If you're on Windows, head to your System Configuration (msconfig), go to the Startup tab, and uncheck War Thunder. Problem solved!

Manually delete the War Thunder shortcut from the Startup folder. That should stop it from launching automatically.
