Easy peasy! Just head to your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), navigate to the Startup tab, and disable War Thunder from the list. It'll stop it from starting automatically.

On Windows, open Task Manager and disable War Thunder from the startup list. For Mac, check your System Preferences under 'Users & Groups' and remove it from your Login Items.

On Windows, you can use the System Configuration tool. Press Win+R, type msconfig, hit Enter, go to the Startup tab, and then uncheck War Thunder. Done and dusted!

I had the same issue. I went into my settings, found startup programs, and just toggled War Thunder off. No more surprise launches!
