How to Stop War Thunder from Launching on Startup

On Windows, open Task Manager and disable War Thunder from the startup list. For Mac, check your System Preferences under 'Users & Groups' and remove it from your Login Items.

On Windows, you can use the System Configuration tool. Press Win+R, type msconfig, hit Enter, go to the Startup tab, and then uncheck War Thunder. Done and dusted!
I had the same issue. I went into my settings, found startup programs, and just toggled War Thunder off. No more surprise launches!
