Honestly, unless you're really geared up and ready for a challenge, summoning a Solar Eclipse on purpose might just be a ticket to getting wrecked. Those vampires and mothrons are no joke. But hey, if you're after those unique drops, it's totally worth it. Just make sure you've got plenty of healing pots and your best gear on.

Just craft a Solar Tablet lol. Hardmode only.

Summoning a Solar Eclipse in Terraria is pretty simple but you gotta wait for Hardmode first. Once you're in Hardmode, grab yourself a Solar Tablet. You can find these in Lihzahrd Chests inside the Jungle Temple, or you can craft one by combining 8 Solar Tablet Fragments at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. Just use the Solar Tablet during the daytime in your game, and boom, instant solar eclipse! Remember, lots of tough mobs will spawn, so prep accordingly.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
