Summoning a unicorn in Terraria isn't something you can do directly, like with a summoning item. However, unicorns naturally spawn in the Hallow biome, so if you're looking to find one, that's where you should go. Make sure it's on the surface though, as they won't spawn underground. The trick is to increase the area of the Hallow biome by spreading Hallow blocks, which can make more unicorns appear. Happy unicorn hunting!

lol, you can't 'summon' a unicorn with a magic spell or something. Just hang around the Hallow and they'll show up. Be ready, though; they're not as cuddly as you think.

Actually, if you're really into getting a unicorn to show up, just speed up the process by using a Water Candle or Battle Potion to increase spawn rates. Works like a charm in the Hallow!
