It's simple, open Pokemon GO, go to Settings, scroll to Adventure Sync, and enable it. Then make sure Google Fit is connected to Samsung Health.

Adventure Sync is the way to go! Enable Adventure Sync in Pokemon GO settings and connect it through Google Fit. Done and done.
