First, turn on your PS3 and Guitar Hero controller. Press the sync button on the dongle plugged into your PS3. Then, press the sync button on your guitar controller. They should connect automatically!

Make sure your guitar controller has fresh batteries. Plug the dongle into the PS3, and press the sync buttons on both the dongle and the guitar. Game on!

If you’re having trouble, try resetting both the guitar and dongle with a paperclip. Sometimes a fresh start does the trick.
