How to tag a person on Facebook

Click on the 'Tag people' icon before posting anything, choose the friends you want to tag, and voila!
When you post a status, photo, or comment, you can click on the Tag button and select the person you want to tag from your friends list.
In the post or comment section, just type @ followed by their name. Easy peasy.
