Honestly, why would you wanna take apart a Hot Wheels? Part of the charm is how nifty and sealed they are. It's like art in mini form.

Taking apart a Hot Wheels isn't recommended if you're planning to keep it in mint condition, but if you're curious or need to for a custom project, here's a basic rundown. You're gonna need some basic tools like a drill and a 1/16 drill bit. The cars are typically held together by one or two rivets. Drill through the rivets carefully, and the body should lift right off the chassis. Remember, this is a one-way trip for your Hot Wheels, so make sure you're committed before you start drilling!

Been modding Hot Wheels for years. Best advice? Go slow with the drill and maybe use some tape to mark where you need to drill. Prevents slippage and keeps the paint job somewhat intact.
