Taking a screenshot in Steam is super easy! Just hit the F12 key while you're playing a game. It's the default screenshot key for Steam. After you press F12, Steam captures the current screen and saves it. You can find your screenshots later by going to the 'View' menu in Steam, selecting 'Screenshots,' and then you can choose to upload them or just keep them on your computer.

F12 is your friend for screenshots in Steam, but if you're feeling adventurous, you can change the default screenshot key. Go to Steam Settings > In-Game and pick a new key under 'Screenshot shortcut keys.' Because why not make things more interesting?

Just smash that F12 button, my friend! It's like the paparazzi button for gamers.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
