On the PS3, not all games support screenshots. For those that do, press the PS button and select 'Photo' to capture your screen.

Back in the day, I used to save my screenshots on the PS3 by pressing the PS button, navigating to 'Photo', and following the on-screen instructions, but the game has to support it.
