To snap a picture of your epic moments on the Steam Deck in Desktop Mode, press the 'Steam' button and the 'Volume Down' button at the same time. It's like doing a secret handshake but for capturing memories!

Just hit 'Steam' + 'Volume Down' buttons together. Quick, easy, and gets the job done without any fuss.

Use the Steam + R1 button combo. The Steam button is on the front and R1 is on the right shoulder鈥攕nap, and you're done!

Taking screenshots in Desktop Mode? I just use the Snipping Tool. Old school, but it never lets me down.

Honestly, the built-in method ('Steam' + 'Volume Down') works great, but for more flexibility, you might want to look into installing a third-party screenshot app. Gives you more control over your screenshots!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
