Alright, here goes! First, make sure you have a Torx T8 or T9 screwdriver (depending on your controller model). Undo the screws on the back, remove the battery pack, and gently pull the halves apart. Easy peasy!

Simple: Battery pack out, all screws undone (including the hidden one), and then gently separate. Done and done.

Pro tip: There鈥檚 a hidden screw under the sticker in the battery compartment. Peel that up, and you鈥檒l find it. Get a Torx T8 screwdriver to open it up!

Speaking from experience, you need a Torx T8 screwdriver. Take out all the screws (don't miss the one under the sticker in the battery compartment) and then carefully pry it open. Just take it slow!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
