I took mine apart to clean the fan. Just make sure to have a Torx T8/T9 screwdriver. Remove the stand, side panels, and you'll get to the fan easily. It's a bit nerve-wracking the first time, but totally doable!

You're going to need a Torx T8/T9 screwdriver and a plastic prying tool. First, unplug the PS5, then lay it flat. Carefully remove the base and pop off the side panels. The panels come off with a bit of a lift and slide. Be gentle with the tabs! After that, you can access the SSD slot and clean the fan.
