First off, make sure it's unplugged! Then, pry open the plastic casing using a flathead screwdriver. But, be careful—the plastic clips can be stubborn and you don’t want to break them!

Pro tip: Hairdryer helps soften the plastic to make prying easier. Less snapping, more success!

You’ll need a Torx screwdriver to remove the screws once you've pried it open. After unscrewing, gently pull apart the two halves of the casing. Inside, you’ll find the components ready for inspection. Good luck!

I took mine apart with just a flathead screwdriver and a Torx T10. Took a bit of work, but it was pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. Watch out for that fan inside!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
