Grab a T6 and T8 Torx screwdriver, pry tool, and some patience. First, pop off the paddles and rear grips. Next, remove the screws under the rear grips and the front faceplate. Finally, carefully lift the shell to access internal components. Happy tinkering!

Don't bother, it's risky and can void your warranty. Just take it to a professional.

You鈥檒l need Torx T6 and T8 screwdrivers. Pop the paddles and grips, unscrew the exposed screws, and carefully remove the shell. Voila!

Why take it apart? If it's broken, just get a new one. Trust me, it's less hassle.

Alright, first thing鈥檚 first鈥攇et a T6 and T8 Torx screwdriver. Start by removing the screws on the back of the controller, hidden under the grips. Pry the grips off carefully, then unscrew the main body screws to lift off the shell. Take your time and don鈥檛 lose any screws!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
