How to turn off active status on Instagram?

Open Instagram, go to your profile, tap the three lines, select Settings, then Privacy, and switch off Activity Status. Easy peasy!

You can't hide forever! But to turn off your active status, head to Settings, choose Privacy, and disable Activity Status.
