Super easy! First, make sure your PS5 is turned off and unplugged. Then, carefully lay it flat. Gently lift one corner of the side panel and slide it off. Voilà! Now you can see the fan.

1. Turn off and unplug your PS5. 2. Lay it horizontally. 3. Gently push from the top corner of the side panel and slide it down. The fan cover should come off easily.

Speaking from experience, make sure you unplug it first! Then, just push the side panel slightly upwards from the corner and it should slide off, revealing the fan cover.

Just pop off the side panel. It's simple and doesn't require any tools!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
