Taking over hoods in GTA San Andreas is all about showing those rival gangs who's boss! First, cruise around enemy gang territory until you provoke a gang war. This usually happens after you attack a few gang members. Keep an eye on your turf too, enemies might try to take it back. Once the war starts, survive three waves of attacks and the hood is yours! Pro tip: Stock up on ammo and wear body armor.

Honestly, taking over hoods is a waste of time. Just focus on the main missions and enjoy the story. You'll have enough action without the extra hassle of defending territories.

Just shoot every rival gang member in sight lol. Once you start a gang war, survive 3 waves and bam, you're the king of the hood.

Been there, done that. Taking over hoods adds so much to the gameplay. Each takeover feels like a mini-movie, and conquering all of them? Ultimate satisfaction. Make sure you have lots of ammo, and don't be afraid to get strategic with your attacks. And remember, the more territories you control, the more cash flows in.
