How to Take Screenshots on Steam
DepetallingMummy路7 months agoLiterally just hit F12. Steam saves the pic, and you can find them later in the View > Screenshots menu. If you're feeling fancy, you can change the screenshot key by going to Steam > Settings > In-Game > Screenshot shortcut keys.

Pressing F12! That's the default magic button on Steam to capture your heroic moments or epic fails. After you're done playing, Steam pops up a window with all your screenshots, letting you decide which ones are worthy of your profile or to spam your friends with.
Customize it your way! If F12 feels too far to reach in the heat of battle, Steam lets you change the screenshot hotkey. Go into Steam's settings, hit the 'In-Game' tab, and choose a key you can hit without looking. Imagine pulling off a game-winning move and capturing it with a single button press. Perfect for showing off or just keeping memories.
F12 is overrated. Who even uses the function keys anymore? I set mine to something easy, like 'P' for picture. Makes it way easier to remember and hit when you're in the middle of gaming greatness!
