First, lay your PS5 on a flat surface. With the logo side up, grip the bottom-right corner and pull up gently while sliding to the left. The cover should pop off easily!

Just make sure your PS5 is unplugged first! Then, with the console facing you, hold the top edge and pull up on the opposite corner. Slide the cover to the left, and boom, you're in!

I've done this! Place the PS5 flat, grip the top-left, and bottom-right corners, and give a slight lift, then slide it off to the left. It's like cracking open a treasure chest!

Honestly, just tug at the corner and slide it off. Not rocket science.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
