First, remove the battery pack. Then, you'll need a Torx T8 security screwdriver to unscrew the seven screws at the back. Be extra careful not to lose any buttons when you separate the shell.

Get a Torx T8 screwdriver, remove the seven screws, pop it open. Simple enough, just don't break anything!

Taking apart an Xbox 360 controller is easier than you think. Just make sure you have a Torx T8 screwdriver to remove the seven screws at the back.

I've done this before! After removing the screws, gently pry the two halves apart - I used a plastic spudger to avoid scratches. Keep an eye on the triggers; they may fall out.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
