Step 1: Download the Discord app on your phone or PC. Step 2: Use the mobile app or PC to join a voice channel. Step 3: Plug your phone or PC into your DualSense controller using an aux cable. It’s not perfect, but it’s a decent workaround!

Unfortunately, Sony hasn't officially integrated Discord voice chat into the PS5 yet. But you can use the mobile app or a PC alongside your gaming setup. It's a bit clunky, but it works!

Here's a hot take: Just use the PlayStation Party Chat. It's easier and already built in.

In my experience, connecting the PS5 & Discord through your phone works best. Hop in a Discord call on your phone and use a headset that can connect to both your phone and PS5 controller. Not seamless, but it gets the job done!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
