So if u wanna chat up with NPCs in GTA 5 story mode, you're kinda outta luck, cuz the game doesn’t really have a feature that lets you have detailed conversations with them. However, you can interact with some characters during specific missions or activities where the game prompts you to press certain buttons to respond or engage. Otherwise, enjoy the mayhem and occasional 'hey' and 'what’s up' you can throw at passersby!

No real talk button in GTA 5 story mode, but pressing right on the D-pad when you're near some NPCs does let you interact with them in a very basic way. Don’t expect deep conversations though, it's more like a quick 'hello' or a comment.

Actually, pressing right on the D-pad sometimes makes NPCs react or respond to you. It’s not a conversation but it's something. Tried it, some of them even throw back some sass or fear, depending on your vibe!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
