Just put some rockcarrots or kibble in your last slot, feed, then hold on tight! You'll get the hang of it.

To tame an Equus in ARK on Xbox, sneak up behind it with either rockcarrots or kibble in your last inventory slot and press the Y button to feed it. Once you mount it, follow the prompts to continue feeding it until it's fully tamed!
