In Starfield, you can target specific parts of a ship, like the engines, by opening your targeting interface during space combat. Use the ship's targeting system to focus on the engines and disable them for a tactical advantage. Make sure you're close enough to the enemy ship so that your targeting system can lock on!

From personal experience, targeting engines makes space fights so much easier. Open your targeting HUD during combat, lock on, and fire away!

Just aim for the glowy bits at the back! Seriously though, use the targeting interface in combat to lock onto their engines. Happy spacefighting!

You just need to use the targeting system in combat to lock onto their engines and shoot. Easy peasy!
