It’s pretty simple! First, make sure your Shield 9mm is unloaded. Then, lock the slide back, remove the takedown lever, and ease off the slide. Voila!

Unload it completely, lock back the slide, rotate the takedown lever, and then slide the slide off the frame carefully. Done and done!
