Figuring out which Hot Wheels case you've got is like being a detective at a car show. First, check the code on the case - it usually has a letter and numbers indicating the year and batch. The letter part of the code tells you the series of the release for that year (A for the first of the year, B for the next, and so on). The numbers give you the year of production. Also, take a gander at the artwork and car selection; sometimes, specific themes or exclusive models hint at the case series.

Just look at the code on the case. The letter tells you the batch, and the number shows the year. Easy peasy.
