Easy way to spot a fake is to check the box first! Real Funko Pop boxes have a clear, crisp printing, especially on the logos and text. Also, the bottom of the box should have detailed copyright and licensing info. The figure itself should have no paint smudges, and the vinyl should feel sturdy, not cheap. Oh, and always compare the figure with pictures from the official Funko website or trusted collectors' sites.
Had a fake once, the sticker was a dead giveaway. Real Funko Pops have stickers for exclusivity, like limited editions or store exclusives. Fake ones either won't have the sticker or it'll be really off - wrong colors, sizes, or even misspellings. If you're buying an 'exclusive' but the sticker looks sus, question it!
