Spotting a promo Pokemon card is pretty easy once you know what to look for! Promo cards usually have a black star with the word 'PROMO' written across it. This symbol is typically found in the corner of the card. If you ever pull a card with this symbol, congrats, you've got yourself a promo card!

In case you're wondering, not all promo cards scream 'promo'. Some of the older ones might just have a unique symbol that doesn't explicitly say 'promo' but still sets it apart from regular cards. So, always check the symbols and do a quick search if in doubt!
