One quick way to tell if a Pokemon card is centered is by looking at the borders around the edge of the card. The border should be of equal width on all sides. If one side is visibly thicker or thinner than the others, then the card is off-center. A good trick is to flip the card over and compare the back side as well, since misalignment can be more noticeable there.

I found out one of my rare cards was slightly off-center by using a caliper, which measures the borders accurately. It's a bit overkill for casual collectors, but if you're into the details or thinking about getting your card graded, it's a handy tool.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
