Full art cards? They're the ones that look like the artist just couldn't contain themselves to a small frame. If it looks like the Pokemon is about to leap off the card because there's no traditional border – congrats, you've got yourself a full art card! Also, the texture thing is real; some full arts have this cool tactile feel that's different from regular cards.
Honestly, just look at it. If the art's all over the place, it's full art. No borders, no problem.
