To check if a Pokemon card is near mint, inspect it closely for any signs of wear. Look for corner wear, scratches on the surface or holo, and any bends or creases. The card should have clean edges, no discoloration, and the holo (if applicable) should be free of scratches. Basically, the card should look almost as good as new with only minor imperfections that are hard to spot.

A near mint Pokemon card? Just make sure it basically looks untouched. No bends, no scratches, and it shines like it just came out of the pack!

Not all 'near mint' cards are created equal. Some people are way too picky. If it looks good in a binder and you can't see any flaws from a foot away, it's good enough for me.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
