How to tell if a Pokemon card is Unlimited
Easy way to spot an Unlimited Pokemon card is to look for the absence of a 1st Edition symbol. If it doesn't have the symbol, congrats, you've got yourself an Unlimited edition! Also, check the card border colors and compare them with known Unlimited sets, sometimes the color is a giveaway.

Tbh, just google the card set and number. Unlimited cards are pretty common so if you can't find a '1st Edition' mark or a holographic 'shadow' around the picture box, it's likely Unlimited. Not rocket science, folks.
Unlimited? Just flip the card and peep at the bottom. No '1st Edition'? Boom, Unlimited. Also, if the card feels like it's seen more days than your grandad's favorite cap, it's probably Unlimited... or just really old and played.
Look, everyone's saying to check for the 1st Edition symbol, but don't forget about the shadow! If there's no drop shadow under the picture, it's not just Unlimited, it could be a Shadowless card, which means it's actually rarer than your average Unlimited card. Keep an eye out!
