Alternate art Pokemon cards? Just flip it and check the number. If you see a letter next to it, you've got gold! Plus, the artwork is way cooler, so it's pretty noticeable.

To figure out if a Pokemon card is an alternate art version, you gotta check a few things. First, look at the card number at the bottom. Alternate art cards often have a letter after the number, like 'A' or something similar. Also, the art itself usually stands out - it's different from the usual card art, depicting scenes or perspectives not seen in the card's regular version. Plus, these cards can sometimes feel more 'full' - like the artwork is taking up more of the card space, breaking out of the usual frame.

Honestly, just google the card. There's tons of info out there, and you'll know for sure if it's alternate art or not. Plus, seeing them side by side, you can really spot the differences in artwork.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
