Spotting a shadowless Pokemon card is like finding a rare gem in your collection! Look at the right side of the image box on the card. If there's no shadow, congrats, you've got a shadowless card! These are from the first print run of the Pokemon TCG and are super sought after. Another tip is to check the date. Shadowless cards will have a 1999 date without the '99-'00 that later prints have. Happy hunting!

Shadowless Pokemon cards are actually pretty easy to spot once you know what you're looking for. No shadow along the right side of the image box is your biggest clue. Also, these cards feel a bit different, kind of like they're from an older, more magical era of Pokemon.

Honestly, just look for the shadow. If there isn't one on the right side of the image, it's shadowless. Simple as that. No need to overcomplicate things.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
