One glaring sign is when you can't find their profile anymore or if the direct link to their profile says 'error' or 'profile not found', despite you knowing you've got the right URL. It's like trying to open a secret door, but suddenly there's just a wall there. Also, if you were friends and you suddenly can't see their game information or profile updates, you might have been blocked, buddy.

Just send them a friend invite. If it doesn't go through or you get an error, that's a pretty solid hint they've blocked you. Steam doesn't directly tell you "Hey, you got blocked!" but it's pretty good at playing charades.

Honestly, it's not that deep. They blocked you? Move on. It's Steam, not a soap opera.

Been there, done that. I tried to message a pal, and it wouldn't send. Checked their profile, and it was like they vanished into the Steam-void. They hadn't deleted their account, just blocked me. Felt like a digital ghost story.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
