Honestly, just google the card name and number. There's tons of databases online that can tell you not just the rarity, but the card's value, history, and more. Why squint at tiny symbols when the internet has all the answers?

Checking the bottom right corner of your Pokemon card is the easiest way to figure out its rarity! Look for a small symbol there - a circle means it's common, a diamond indicates it's uncommon, and a star means it's rare. If you see a star with an 'H' or three stars, congrats, you've got yourself a super rare card! There's also a chance you might find a unique symbol like a star in a circle, which points to a special or promo card.

Too complicated. Just play with the cards and don't worry about rarity. It's all about the game!

Rarity symbols are cool and all, but don't forget card texture. Full art or holographic cards usually mean you're holding something pretty special.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
