How to Tell if Pokemon Cards are Original
DislikingTramp·7 months agoTelling original Pokemon cards from fakes can be tricky, but there's a few dead giveaways. Check the card's texture first—real cards have a distinct smooth feel and a clear, glossy finish. The colors should be vibrant, not washed out or too dark. Original cards also have a uniform border. Peep the back too; it should match the official design perfectly. Don't forget the light test: Hold it up to a light; if it's too transparent, chances are it's a fake.

Just weigh them! Real cards have a specific weight to them because of the quality paper used. Most fakes feel lighter or heavier in comparison.
Look at the card's font, especially the HP and attack numbers. Official cards use a consistent font that's easy to read and not blurred. Fake cards often mess this up.
