Easy peasy! Just flip your Pokemon card over and look at the bottom. You'll see a little symbol that looks kinda like a logo – that's the set symbol. Every set has its own unique symbol, so once you find that, just Google the symbol or check out a Pokemon card database, and you'll have your answer in no time.

Honestly, just use a card database online. Sites like Bulbapedia have extensive lists where you can match the symbol at the bottom of your card to the set it belongs to. Saves you the trouble of memorizing symbols!

From personal experience, the fastest way to figure it out is using an app or website specifically for Pokemon TCG. I just type in some details or even scan the card, and it tells me everything I need to know, including the set.

Don't overthink it, the symbol's all you need. If you can't figure it out, maybe it's just a really obscure set. Or, you know, not a legit card. Just saying.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
