Easy peasy! Just check the bottom of your Pokemon card. You'll usually find a small symbol there, kind of like a logo, which indicates its expansion set. Each set has a unique symbol. Also, you can peek at the card number which is often alongside this symbol - the numbers/letters combo tells you the card's position in the set. If you're feeling a bit lost, the internet is your best friend! Websites and databases can help match the symbol to the set.

Just flip the card and look at the bottom corner, dude. There's a tiny symbol there. Match that with symbols from a set list online. Bam! Mystery solved.

Symbols are key! But, don't stress too much. Most players recognize sets by the artwork style or the card's era. It's like Pokemon TCG culture 101.

Honestly, it's not that hard. Every card's got a set symbol, but remember, some old cards or promos might not follow the same rules, so keep an eye out for those anomalies.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
